Se esperaba, y pronto será oficial: Riyad Mahrez (32 años, 47 partidos y 15 goles en todas las competiciones para la temporada 2022-2023) dejará el Manchester City para incorporarse al Al-Ahli, confirma este jueves el muy solvente Fabrizio Romano, a través de su famoso «aquí vamos».
Los últimos documentos los están firmando los dos clubes, que el miércoles llegaron a un acuerdo de hasta 35 millones de euros, primas incluidas. La llegada del internacional argelino a Arabia Saudí debería formalizarse a finales de semana, mientras que su visita médica se realizará dentro de 24 horas.
Como recordatorio, Mahrez ya ha pactado con el Al-Ahli un contrato de cuatro años, es decir, hasta 2027, con un salario anual estimado en 29 millones de euros.
