Víctima de un grave accidente a caballo en mayo de 2023, Sergio Rico (31 años) estuvo hospitalizado durante varios meses antes de poder volver a hacer vida normal.
Ahora en Al Gharafa, el portero español quiso saludar al Paris Saint-Germain, a su lado en estos momentos difíciles.
“Recibí mucho cariño de todos, del presidente, de los compañeros. Realmente agradezco a todos los compañeros que me apoyaron, que me enviaron un mensaje”, dijo el portero en la capital entre 2019 y 2024 para Le Parisien.
“No tengo ninguna queja sobre el comportamiento del PSG. Siempre han estado a mi lado, me han ayudado lo mejor posible, sólo puedo saludar al gran club que es el PSG”, dijo.
Mencionó en particular el homenaje que se le rindió en el Parque de los Príncipes.
«Fue un gran momento para mí. Me lo esperaba un poco porque me habían dicho que algo venía pero aún así. El Parque de los Príncipes siempre ha sido un estadio especial», añadió el exjugador del Sevilla FC.
