Cedido al Inter de Milán la temporada pasada, el delantero Romelu Lukaku (30 años, 37 partidos y 14 goles en todas las competiciones para la temporada 2022-2023) no quiere volver al Chelsea y ahora espera a que los dos clubes lleguen a un acuerdo .
Para facilitar la operación, el internacional belga aceptaría hacer un gran esfuerzo económico. Según Sky Sports, el Diablo Rojo está dispuesto a rebajarse en torno a 1,15 millones de euros fichando por los nerazzurri, que hicieron una oferta inicial de 35 millones de euros rechazada por los Blues.
Estos últimos piden 47 millones de euros por vender al delantero fichado por 113 millones de euros en 2021.
